VVA 223 President's Message

With things changing so fast it is tough keep up. Be aware of what is happening in your area and base your movements on that. Every community is different so everyone needs to pay attention to what is said. If people need assistance they need to call someone in their neighborhood that can possibly help. Since we have no access to our office we cannot get our phone messages so feel free to contact one of our board members. The April General Meeting is cancelled. Hopefully, in May, instead of the General Meeting, we are hosting a Town Hall Meeting at the Vets Building.  More information to follow. Ken Holybee

Veteran's Hall Closed to Prevent COVID-19 Spread

In an effort to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the Sonoma County Health Department issued an Order today (March 13, 2020) cancelling large gatherings, gatherings of at-risk individuals, and gatherings in spaces where six feet of social distancing is not possible. As a part of this Order, the Sonoma County Veteran's Hall has been closed. VVA 223 will be suspending all meetings for the month of March. If you need medical attention call you doctor or the advice nurse for advice before going to the clinic or any other facility. If you need the location of the urgent care facilities that take veterans, contact the Santa Rosa VA at 707.569.2300.
